Arrived on the outskirts of Logrono at 11:45am after leaving Los Arcos at 7:15am (4hrs 30 mins.) It took me three hours to arrive at Viana, a nice enough walk. Some wind at times, but once the sun rose over the horizon, there was beautiful sunshine from San Sol onwards. I was sorry I didn't keep going yesterday until San Sol, or even better, the little village of Torres del Rio next door. It was even more interesting than San Sol architecturally, and offered at least a couple of really inviting bars and at least three albergues (particulares as they say here). It would also have knocked an hour off today's walk. However, I found today easy enough going. (From diary)
