A view of the bridge from the newer road. I followed the newer track as the stones along the roman road were quite uneven, and the track was a little more overgrown than last time. Obviously most pilgrims have a similar idea to mine. I did pass a fellow along here, but although he looked fit, he had no backpack, so I assumed he was not a pilgrim.
