At 1:35pm I pass the small fountain in front of the albergue on the edge of Puente La Reina. It was very inviting, and well kept. I had a look in, but there were a number of pilgrims beginning to arrive, and I did not feel like company - not after such a solitary walk up till this point. However, it was obvious that I was now on a much more travelled route. I would recommend this albergue in retrospect, as the hostel that I did stay in had risen in price since last time. I remembered stopping at this fountain last time to rinse down my shoes - there must have been some mud between Pamplona and Puente La Reina last time.
